My New Junk Wax Purchase

I figured it was a cheap way to take a shot for the auto's in this product. Ripped a wax case a few years back and pulled a Yaz auto. For $100 shipped I couldn't pass up a blister rack case of each series.

    I agree!! Will be fun and there are lot's of stars and HOFer's in there. Not really worth much, but a whole lot of memories.

    PSA 10 Stars and Hofer's sell for $20 a pop. There was a big batch that sold recently on Ebay.

    Good Luck with the Auto's and post anything great that you get!

    I saw that as well. Might be worth having a few graded down the road. I will post my results.

    I have posted some of my PSA poppage results on here a bunch of times.

    Of course I would rather have all vintage be in my submissions, but it doesn't seem very hard to take a $1 or $2 card and turn it into $20 or $30 dollars. Even when they come back a 9, you can still usually get your grading fee back or so.

    I just had another 90 cards arrive at PSA and I do have some vintage in there, but about half is 2011 Topps. Stars, rookies etc. I usually bat around 50% or so on getting PSA 10's on modern stuff, or after 1990.

    Below is a mix of the more modern stuff from my last poppage I had. A few of the 10's I am keeping, all the Shaq's as I think this is a good stock to buy right now. Plan on selling someday when he get's into the hall.

    But even the Kenny Rogers is a $20 card, the Ryan's of course will get that or so, and the Wall's shold do the same.

    These are cards that would barely sell for a buck or two. My goal when submitting is to sell enough to pay for my grading fees and keep enhancing my personal collection. Sorry just giving you my opinion. So whenever junk wax if you will is cheap and ripped, there usually is a way to make a little doe and it is fun. Enjoy.
