I found that one of the sets was improperly sealed so all of the coins are toned and
another set has a kennedy half-dollar with a strike through.





Taking the wife out so I will open the other box later.

Thanks for showing the backs.

The 1971-S Kennedy often came with a cameo obverse but the reverse were mostly non-cam's as pointed out in Rick Tomaska's Half Dollar Book. The rare ones are the PR69DCAM coins on both obverse and reverse.

Additionally, 1971 had literally a bunch of DDO and DDR coins. CONECA lists 18 DDO Kennedy's and 7 DDR's. Some of which are fairly dramatic.

Of course, neither of these are to discount the DDO-001 FS-101 Lincoln DDO.

The whole point being, examine your sets very carefully.
