I'm guessing the color is more vibrant in hand. Is that a staple scratch by the eye?

Very nice and probably a MS65 with the eye scratch. Reverse color is
probably much more vibrant and rainbow-like in hand. Nice pick.

I would've bid stronger on that one if it would've been a certain VAM in that date/mm I collect.
    Many happy BST transactions

The colors are hard to capture in a pic, definately more vibrant, so here are a couple more. In hand they really please me.

    Yes, that is a scratch(not a staple?)above/behind the eye.

A couple more shots of the Obverse for guesses at the grade.

It's a nice looking coin, but I would have to think that scratch would hold that coin to no higher than 63.

It looks kinda like it's been cleaned a bit on that scratch by the eye in the one image, or it's more blemishes. If graded I would say 63. I'll bet it's a vibrant coin!! Nice!
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
  • It's a nice coin...great color....but I hate to say it, if it was resubmited today it might come back with a .95 in the certification lable

    Here is their definition

    Scratch
Depends on the severity and/or the quantity of the scratch(s). Faint, old, toned-over scratches may be acceptable; bright, fresh scratches may not. Placement is an important factor.
