Liz Taylor dies at age 79 - Post some coins from 1932

Just saw that she passed away this morning at some point. I always liked her.

Post a coin from 1932(her birth year) in memorial.

I loved her too, especially her early movies, from National Velvet to Butterfield 8. She will be greatly missed. Godspeed, Elizabeth.

My mother was also born in 1932, which was a very poor year for US coin issues.

Due to the depths of the Depression, except for the quarter and penny, I think the only good coins minted were gold.

For that reason, as a keepsake of her birth year, my father bought my mother a $10 Indian on a necklace...so I guess mom made out alright after all!

PS...I was born in 1967...which was also not a vey hot year for collectible coins!
