All Time HR KING

Before anyone corrects me, I know that Barry Bonds hit more HR's than Hank Aaron. He also cheated, so in my book, I don't even acknowledge his stats. I've wanted one of these for a very long time. A PSA 7 is as much as I will ever be able to afford, but finding this card centered and without any print defects has proven to be quite the challenge. This is the card that was discussed last week by fellow board member Akuracy503 (Martin) in his thread. The scan's werent great, but I took a chance based on the centering and registration.

Edit: Different scan, better represents the card.

BTW, it's great to se a fine example of a HR leader whose head stayed the same size his whole career - in more ways than one.

<< <i>Nice looking card.. but the upper left corner keeps drawing my eye. I hope it looks better in person. >>
You can't see the upper left corner with the naked eye. In a perfect world, I would crack it, press the upper left edge down with my finger, and we would be looking at a 7.5 candidate. But I don't have the stones for that, and am not sure if thats exactly the right thing to do.
Thanks for the very kind words guys, I am really happy about this card. I just need a centered Jordan PSA 9 RC and I will have acquired just about all the big cards I am looking for.

It's all speculation on Bonds. It hasn't been proven, once it does then you have an argument, but until then Barry is the home run king.
BTW beautiful card!!! Congrats
It looks solid and much better than originally perceived.
Definitely would have picked it up based on your scan.

No one recognizes (or cares about) Barry Bonds. Well, maybe ESPN cares about him, but that's it.
Beautiful Aaron card. Own it proudly and sleep well at night.
Congratulations.

Not to start up a long rant, but in an effort to educate those not aware, it is not speculation on Bonds. It has been proven. Solid fact of life. Bonds asserts he was unaware that when he took the "clear and the cream" it was really illegal substances. these substances provided to him by BALCO labs are steroids. No debate here. If you are to believe that- it's a shame his friends didn't tell him that they were steroids.
