IMO to be forwarded after it was delivered the recipient had to do that.

Ask your mail carrier if you can.

    S
    Good for you.
  • That is all I could think of as well.....

I was trying to avoid heading to the PO to ask, but looks like I may have to

<< <i>trying to avoid heading to the PO >>

They do have phones there too. No need to stop by, just call and ask to speak with the Postmaster. Most are very helpfull as they DO NOT want people to call their bosses with compliants.
  • I can honestly say that calling the PO never even occurred to me.......BRILLIANT!

I love when obvious things don't even cross my mind because I am focused on what could go or has gone wrong.

    Thanks for the help

Good luck, the USPS is horrible as of late. Had them deliver now 3 items this week to myself that all required signatures and they didn't get a signature for any of them and just left them on my doorstep. What is great is the most expensive one is showing as of 5 days ago still not delivered via the tracking info but that only an attempt to deliver slip was left, not the actual package.

I let the seller know that I received the expensive item even though the DC shows otherwise.
  • Unfortunately the Post Master wasn't much help image just said that it looks like delivery was attempted, and then it was noticed that it was the wrong name so it was forwarded. Nothing else to report....

I contacted the buyer and they have no idea why it would be forwarded. The address matches the PP (label was printed directly from PP) and when they buyer paid he sent me a message with his address - which matched PP

No clue where to go from here.

Buyer did confirm he has not received the card

OK my next question is forwarded to ultimately where? back to you?

Any way you can leave a message to the carrier?

If not Saturday you can see him?

    Good luck.

    Steve
    Good for you.
  • forwarded to where is the grand question that no one can answer unfortunately.

I will leave a note for my carrier, not sure what she can answer, but couldn't hurt to ask

Call your postmaster back and get the phone # for the PO in the city where you sent it. One of you should contact them and see what they know. They handled the package last. Have the postmaster there speak to the carrier if necessary. Your package may "turn up" very unexpectedly if the right buttons are pushed. Someone knows exactly what happened to it, you just have to find out who. It's a PITA but worth it for peace of mind.
