Dr Anderson nevada collection ?

Just bought an 85-CC $20 and on the holder it's from the Dr Anderson Nevada Coll

Does anyone have any information on this collection? Is this a viable pedigree or is it memorex?

Obviously a doctor .. graduated from the University of Nevada .. ran for U.S senate in 1958 .. first name Fred .. other big name dealers have non gold coins from his collection , but the internet , nor the other dealers have no mention of "the collection"s history.

This coin shop refers to him as if they knew him... Southgate Coins.

It's odd though, all of his personal papers at the University of Nevada, Reno, and his biography with Nevada Day, never mention anything about him being a numismatist. Maybe he was embarrassed and never told his friends or family that he collected coins?
