I just sent to PCGS a 1954-d lincoln cent from a unopened OBW roll find. My wife said it was the bst looking penny she has ever seen. I am hoping it grades a 67. I will wait to see what the results are. I sent it out for Express and Secure Plus, so I should know in about a week. It will look nice in my 1954 mint set, currently ranked 4th on the list.

......waiting.
@Mfran ,
1. Even with Express, I suspect it will take at least 1-1/2 weeks to see your grade. Please share it with us.
2. I just looked at your set. WOW! Yes, each coin is gorgeous, AND each is in an old holder! Your set is among rarified company up there! Congratulations! You should be VERY proud! (I just posted a “Comment” on your set page).

I've heard turn around times are slow but 10 years on an express submission is crazy!
Silly me! I got fooled by this post being resurrected after 10 years!
Info for readers:
1. His set is still currently ranked #4, and is indeed an absolutely gorgeous set, with all old holders (but not green).
2. Apparently that 1954-D Lincoln came back MS66RD, which is the coin currently in his set (unless it came back as 67RD as he had hoped, and then by chance he chose to sell it. Back in March/April 2011, the PCGS Price Guide shows a value of $2,000. The value shown for December 2021 is only $410. Ouch!
