1955 Deutsche Mark

I don't deal much (at all) with non-US coins, but I'm simply trying to find the approx. value of a 1955 F 1 Deutsche Mark. I've been all over the web, and I guess I just don't know where to look for this particular year and mintmark. No current or past listings on ebay either.

As for the grade, I'm not really sure how to grade these or what would be the most important features. I'd say it is circulated, but I don't recognize any signs of major wear. All features appear to be strong. Engraving on the edge also seems strong.

I assume that I'm having trouble finding it because it is ultra-rare and nearly priceless.

I'd appreciate any help, or link on where to look. Thanks

Almost 5 million minted , copper-nickel , worth a couple bucks in nice condition.

6.3 million according to my money trend magazine. Price in ss (vf) $3, vz(xf) $35, vz-st $170, st(unc) $350. These are approximate translations of ss, vz and st and I think those prices are in Euros (USD is about 30% more). To me these are higher prices than you'd typically get for these, and the one's I've got (and not paid more than a few dollars for) look pretty good and well stamped, I'd say XF.

Thanks for the replies. Is there a good website that has (free) price guides for non-US coins? Have a handful of others across Europe and Asia that I'm curious about. Ebay selling prices are generally a good enough guide for me, but it is really hit and miss finding the exact year and mintmark.

www.sammler.com has German coin values (there is a English language link) but I'm not sure about any others. The Standard Catalogue of World Coins by Krause is the best guide for someone in your situation, it also comes in pdf form and I'd be willing to bet a pirated copy would be lurking somewhere out there in the grey regions of the internet.
