Hi all, I bought a coin on e-bay and returned it, I got a message saying seller wants to cancel the transaction. I dont do that much on e-bay,my question is what does this mean,and should I do it? I am thinking he should refund my money thru paypal first but I dont know. Thanks for any help.

If you agree to cancel the deal then he gets his costs returned and can start over.
And that is okay.
However, he should refund as soon as he gets the coin back.

That's my take.

Means he gets his fees back. Either you complete the transaction or you cancel it. You chose not to complete it so cancel is the right thing to do. --Jerry

Tell him once your refund is posted to paypal, you will agree to cancel the transaction. He is doing this to get his ebay fees back.

I bought the coin and then I returned it,the seller must have received it today.

I would message the seller back,that you have yet to receive your refund. If he has coin, then giving you your money back comes FIRST. Ebay ,I think, has same guidelines/process on return. You can search their site for the policy..........No sense for the seller to have both the coin and your money at the same time.

I just checked my e-mail and there was a message from paypal saying I got a refund already,I will go cancel the transaction so he gets his fees back. Thanks for all the help.
