Oh, hey, it IS the Ides of March, ain't it?

Here's my Julius Caesar denarius, struck around that fateful time (circa February to March of 44 BC). Yes, it's a bit of an ugly duckling, but it's got a happy home in my 12 Caesars set. NGC just gave it "VG/banker's marks", which is fine by me. I gotta go retrieve it and the others from the PO tomorrow.

March 15 was the day that US income taxes were due from 1918 to 1955.

Now it is "Beware the Ides of April".

The Ides of April is the 13th like most months. Only March, May, July and October used the 15th.
