Library of Congress photos

Sorry if this has been covered before.
I was watching a History Channel special on the LOC, they photograph all of their photos and documents for archival using an 88 mega-pixel camera. Yes 88, not 8.8...how long would it take to load an auction catalog online if every image was 88MB. Woof!

<< <i>It's fun to go through their online archives (for research, to illustrate a book, etc.). Sometimes you can click on a 90 Kb thumbnail image . . . to get to a 500 Kb medium-sized JPG . . . and clicking on that leads you to a ginormous 123 Megabyte TIFF! lol >>
...any link for coins

...thanks. i guess i'll have to dwell there sometime.
...and from what i've seen there so far it's gonna take a lot of wading.
<< <i>They have GW's diaries, maybe he talks about the 1792/93 coinage. They say most of the entries are like..."It's Tuesday and the sun is shining"...have to read 10,000 pages to find the comments on half-dismes.
Are those online?
