    Neat. I know of a couple of message board members who would love that coin.

    Although it's pretty cool, this isn't unique. There are 5 in the NGC census.

    No, this isn't mine either.

    And there's thousands out there not from the GSA. Sort of like finding one in an early black NGC holder.

    Unless the coin listed by tnfc was sold to them by one of our forum members, it certainly is not unique. I'll let the member here confirm that if he so chooses, but his has been shown here before in this thread

    The 1893-CC is unique in a hard plastic GSA holder.

    Certainly not my collecting focus, but is the asking price a bit high?
  • The 1893-CC is unique in a hard plastic GSA holder.

    Don't have my new Morgan red book, but I know there was only one 89-CC, but only one 93-CC too? Curious if true, is the owner of the 89-DD the same owner of the 93-CC so he has the only complete set?

    A pop. of 5 or not, that coin rates WAY up my "cool" list.
    Just not $3,650 up my list.
    When in doubt, don't.

    Seller is not me. Mine was never graded.

    edited to add;

    original certs were not in this sale as far as i know.
