OT: Looking for a new printer.

I'm looking to get a new printer or maybe a printer / scanner. I'm looking for recommendations for a really good printer. I would like to get one that has the multiple ink slots rather than just the Black - Color carts. As far as price, I have no problem spending $200+ if it's worth it.

Thanks.

Do yourself a favor and get yourself a color laser printer. More expensive? Yes but you wont be sorry. Keep separate your printers and scanners if you want quality. The combos are rarely good for quality of either. I recommend an Epson V series scanner. Top notch for a great price!

I agree on avoiding the combo; the only advantage if getting the 'scan/print' (i.e.copy) function, but it's a small bonus. I have an Epson R220 (not sure of the new model number) that has a CD print tray, which rocks for me, and it uses 6 color cartridges.

These scans were made with an HP combo...I recommend a combo printer actually, if the scanner has a CCD element. Even if it doesn't the copy feature is worth having, even if you have a separate scanner like the V30 or V300.
