I'm looking for a nice gift for a friend who really likes rats. I'm interested in getting him a silver coin with a depiction of a rat.

Australia and Canada and other countries do the Chinese lunar coins , you'll find the rat in both gold and silver.

The only rat that appeared on a 17th century English token, and the only known token issued by a ratcatcher - even though that was a fairly common profession back then.

Edited to add: Sorry, just realised that was your thread too, was thinking it was a coincidence there were two rat threads in a day, after all, how many people like rats?

All depends what any one rodent is selling i suppose
