Major earthquake hits Japan. 8.9

Tsunami hitting. US west coast in possible danger. This will definitely put a major hurt on Japans economy. Right now all we can do is pray for the people.

Tsunami warning for Hawaii.

This thing is bad.

If you know anybody in Hawaii you need to call them. The sirens are going off already. Expected to hit 3:00 AM Hawaii time.

    Warniings went off on Maui... got gas and supplies... heading to higher ground in a couple of hours... last time, nothing happened... I hope we are as lucky this time. God Bless

    8.9 is a heck of an earthquake!
    Thanks goodness they are prepared, I can't imagine if that would have happened in Italy.

    I lived in Tokyo for 6 months, before I moved to the US, and had experienced earthquakes several times. (they are shorter but stronger than the ones in California)
    It is the scariest thing I have ever felt. You feel what you really are, a tiny little man facing the power of Mother Nature. And there's not much you can do.
    Weird thing, when I left Japan, for few months I was missing that feeling.

    I haven't got in touch yet with my friends over there, hope they are all ok.

    My pastor was in Tokyo for Wednesday's earthquake and today's. He was immediately on FB to say he was OK but said it was a rocker.

    At 10 pm last night I noticed lots and lots of people were frantically going to the gas station and gassing up as well as going to the store and getting lots of supplies.
