Am I Missing Something Here?

Is this a counterfeit coin? I don't know why someone would sell an ounce of gold for such a low figure...

    That's because it's not gold ... it's a Chinese fake that is minimumally plated at best. At worst, it's a yellow alloy made to look like gold. If you go to some of the Chinese websites similar to Ebay here, you have to go to "crafts", then "metal" then "bullion" and you will see every world coin or bullion coin for you to choose from, some in fake PCGS holders to boot to go with the fake coin.

  • Gotta love the buyer who negged the seller for selling fake gold , did he really think he was getting an ounce of gold for $100 lol , i guess so cos he bought two
