Merc Sets - Compare, Combine, See Finest Knowns (and one offs), autoupdates

Here is the latest release of my Merc Comparison Excel Sheet. Here
are the Features:

FIRST, I would like to that all of the people that make their sets
visible. I really enjoy looking at them.

Uses old system before weights

Let's you compare any two sets (look all the way to the right of the
sheet, columns BR, BS just change the "yellow" numbers in those
columns). Shows which set has better coin for each individual coin and
the additional points that this coin gets

Gives the score if these two compared sets are combined

Recalculates the rankings when you add new coins to the sheet

Highlights finest known and one less than finest known in each set
(aqua and light aqua shading)

The ONLY things you should change are the numbers in the "yellow
boxes" and the grades of the coins (but not in the "comparison" area)

        Paul,

You're quite the Excel guru! I bow down to you, and thank you for the spreadsheet. It was obviously a lot of work, and it seems to work great. I really appreciate it.

I did it for the lincolns I collect. I see all of you Merc people out there and you are very competitive (and friendly at the same time). Took a look at you listings and was impressed that all the sets were visable. It was only a little work to get it to work for you guys (the "real" excel sheet downloads the sets from the internet and does everything automatically, so it is next to zero work to keep it updated).

        Al,

I had the same problem, but I have an old version of Excel here at home. I will forward it to work and see if it is a version 7 issue. I would really like to see how it is built.

      5. SOG,
thanks that saved me alot of time building that thing, I have one that I use, but not for all the sets, that must have taken you a month to get together..KUDOS!image

Well the next version will let you play with the "weights" and let you see what your set would rank with new weights (whenever they come out for this set).

        Should be ready this week
