What are the chances this is for real?

His prices are way out of whack, and I still think $7,000 would be a bit too high, but that is kind of irrelevant because it is kind of unrealistic that someone who thinks their collection is worth $40,000 is willing to liquidate it for $7,000.

He has taken alot of time in listing the items individually, usually not an indication of a scam. It is also not unrealistic to liquidate a large collection for 15-20%.

  • We already had this posted, multiple people that I know of have contacted him, myself included, have got different stories from him including where he listed the items, how he wants to do it etc.

The guy is in South Carolina, and there was a thread posted with pictures of the autographs which were deemed non-authentic.

I remember reading that thread now, I didn't connect the dots. Sorry for the repost.

My gut reaction to the two Mantles were that they didn't look right, anyway.

What are the conflicting stories you've heard? I've totally lost interest, but I am curious about how people's brains work and how they try to sell to other types of people.
Interested in any Favre stuff you have to offer. image
  • Well I was told that it was posted on the west coast, the OP in the other thread heard east coast, when I actually spoke to the guy he changed it again saying he posted it across the entire US, I know it doesn't sound like much but for me it's still a flag - atleast for me
