Sometimes Ya Just Wish ya Could!!!

Afternoon,
Over the course of 12-13 years on E-bay I have learned that responding to Idiots is a Lose/Lose proposition no matter how good it feels. It always come back to bite ya in the arse.
Today's installment:
"Hello, You would have to be a little bit crazy to actually think someone would spend nearly $1.000 for this card. It's rediculous pricing like this that truly hurts this hobby. Frank A." Verbatim!
The card is one of only 12-13 1953 Topps Scoops With Coating that has been graded NM-MT 8 with no 9's or 10's. I have been offered $750 before, but that's not the point, why go out of the way to make this kind of comment!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll ask whatever I want, either pay it or Don't!!!
For your BBL:

This would have been my answer if I was not Calm and Collected!!!!
Afternoon,
Ya know A$$wipe, why don't you mind your own business. I guess I was wrong when I sold the GEM MINT 10 1955 Rails & Sails Card for $1200, or when I sold several MINT 9 1959 Fleer Three Stooges for $1700-$2800, or when I sold the #1 Registry set of 61 Dinos for $10K or the 1966 Batman Black bat for $17K . Or when I've sold dozens and dozens of the High Dollar 60's Non Sport ($300-$1500 range) over the last few years. Why don't you go and bother people with crap you might know something about.
Oh nevermind................Your just an A$$wipe!!!!!!!

You're spot on with your lose/lose comment -- I rarely even get to the end of the idiot's comments before I hit delete. A minute spent responding to that non-sense is a minute too much.

Always plenty of PSA-graded cards in my ebay store -- https://ebay.com/str/thelumbercompanysportscards

A couple bits of advice I have given to my employees over almost 40 years in business.
1. Never argue with an idiot.
2. Never call an idiot an idiot.

I think I get it. Is it something like this:
This is trite - but I'm a firm believer that "discretion is the better part of valor."
Someone already mentioned this in part - but my dad told me never respond to an idiot, a drunk or a crazy person - that too - as you said is a "lose - lose" situation.
And last - when it comes to right or wrong? I would rather be liked than right - it sure makes life a little easier - tho I do fall from time to time.
Good job.
