From my old dealer-to-dealer network, as part of an ongoing discussion about the joys of retail customers:
.
"During the 1979-80 rush I had been buying many tubes of
20 Pesos from one customer. He had gotten them in a gold
settlement and had no idea what they were except he knew
that he was getting a lot more money than they had been
figured for originally. One day he called and said he had
two tubes I gave him a price and he came in and sold them
basis my price to one of the counter persons. Except later
when I looked at them I saw that they were 50 Pesos. I called
him and told him I owed him more. He then called me back 10 mins
later and told me I was paying $2 less than someone else. Grrrrr"
.
