Frank Thomas card values

I was pricing my Thomas collection for possible selling. I am amazed to find that Thomas is not listed in the Beckett as a Star??????? Haven't looked yet to see if he is priced as a Semi-star OR unlisted Star? Just doesn't seem right! Lifetime .300 hitter, 400-500?? HR hitter. Guess I was simply hoping for a few decent dollars and I'm only going to get change! Just bad timing I presume!!!!! Rich

Gotta be an unlisted star. Beckett can't list all of them.... not enough ink to list every star!

Thomas is still collected... several people were (or still are) big fans of the 'Big Hurt.'

ALWAYS Looking for Chris Sabo cards!

Low serial-numbered stuff of his sell very well.

Don't take meaning in anything you find or don't find in Beckett. Thomas was a "superstar" and will be in the HOF. They don't list any of Jim Thome cards after his rookie either, yet he is a future HOFer as well.

If you look at a Beckett from 1997 and look at what the prices of his inserts from 93-97 were...you will get sick

Frank is very hit amd miss.

I'm a fan and have quite a few Franks.

As far as selling - Got scorched big time on a very nice Frank last week. PSA 10 1999 Finest Gold Refractor (#/100) Pop 2 - $20.50, less than I paid for the card raw. I've several auctions end with no bidders for PSA 10 graded Franks at low prices.

Definitely some (emphasize some) collectors out there into Frank but nothing huge. Maybe it was because he played as an "also ran" White Sox for so many years.
Always looking for 1993-1999 Baseball Finest Refractors and1994 Football Finest Refractors.

Honestly, on players like Frank Thomas, you need to list them with BIN's with Best Offer. I assure you any low numbered cards will go for a premium. Dont follow the guides when it comes to those cards. Otherwise, sell when he is enshrined.
