Noticed some designated as "Peace - High Relief" and others just "Peace". Does PCGS differentiate between the two in the slabs by strike quality ? Just curious. Thanks
First silver dollar I ever had as a kid was a 1921 Peace Dollar. Neighbor lady brought it home one weekend from Vegas, and I carried that thing around with me all through grade school, Jr. high, and most of high school. Finally lost it somewhere along the way........ Those '21s are great.
Not my set, but seeing all of these 1921 Peace Dollars reminded me of this guy's 1921 Peace Dollar Grading Set... very cool if you haven't seen it before:

This really shows how the "pop report" numbers aren't indicative of overall coin populations. Is MS-64 really the most common grade of all the 1921 Peace Dollars out there? Obviously not. I realize that most lower grade coins aren't submitted for grading, but this really illustrates how misleading the numbers can be.

you will notice they all are series 7356 (arbitrary PCGS series number, found on the label just before the serial #)

<< <i>1921`s that is.
Nice little group you got going there. I have probably owned that many 21's total but not a single one in the collecdtion right now.

<< <i>AuNuggets, simply a change in the wording they use on the label (all are high relief for 1921)

Thanks Greg, I knew they were all "high relief" for the 1921, just wondered if they used different terminology by strike quality. Nice coins.

<< <i>Need to check your 1921 Peace 1$ to see if they are struck with proof dies.
What is the diagnostic for that?

I'll take that first AU55, top row on the left.
All very nice looking coins. The Peace design is one my favorites, apparently a lot of other folks too.
