I was looking at my auto collection on Friday and decided to add the Duke.

I think I'm bad luck. Same thing happened to Enos Slaughter when I decided to pick up his signature.

His was the first autograph I ever got at a card show. It was back in 1979 at the Fallbrook CA Boys' Club, and only cost $5. I still have the ball he signed.

The Duke was one of the first cards I ever owned back in 1959.The statistics on back of his card were awesome.From then on he became one of my heros to this day.

I was a Brooklyn fan - Snider was my favorite.

My first BB glove was a Rawlings Duke Snider.

It's a sad day for me - very, very sad.

I could post on the Duke for a long while - thus, I'll just say - so long good buddy.
