We're back from Vegas and I can say it was one of the best Members Only shows that PCGS has had.

We crammed a couple of extra tables into the room in response to last minute requests from some dealers who just had to be there.

Dealers from across America attended and represented a very nice cross section of coins - from Moderns to Colonials. We even had a dealer from Holland with a nice mix of US and World coins.

Collector traffic seemed a little lighter than usual. Perhaps that's because we had to run the show from Tuesday through Friday (the conference center was 100% sold out for Saturday - and we book a year in advance!).

I think everyone who attended was quiet satisfied when they left.

Our next Members Only show is scheduled for May 18 - 21. Check it out!

How often are the "members only" shows, and are they always in Vegas?

Four a year, or so, and yes in Vegas!

Several times per year. Do you have a good idea for an alternate location? If so I'm sure DW would be eager to know about it.

Chicago, Detroit or some other mid-west
location would be a nice gesture. Even an occasional east coast location would be nice. >>

Show location has to be a place with some extra curricular appeal for the attendees. Detroit and the Midwest lack that appeal.

Whenever we're in town for a CSNS convention invariably one night's entertainment involves riding the hotel elevators up and down for a few hours. That doesn't cut it in terms of keeping us entertained.

Maybe you should try playing Angry Birds while riding the hotel elevators? image
