ebay invoicing question

So if you sell something on eBay and send out an invoice that says payment due within a certain time, and that certain time passes, do you do anything, or does eBay automatically send out email "pings" to the customer reminding them that payment is due? Just curious.

If a payment is not recorded, by default eBay will send a payment reminder to a buyer 48 hours after the auction ends unless you un-check the setting located under 'manage communications with buyers' heading of your selling prefrences. If enabled (default setting is off), the unpaid item assistant will automatically open an unpaid item case at your default time frame (minimum 4 days).

I disabled both features. I don't want eBay managing my communications with buyers.

That was also how i felt , i hadnt thought about it before and pay right away if i buy so havnt seen a reminder email.

I know most sellers expect buyers to pay in certain time but how about shipping time, what is your expectation for seller to mail the coin out after you have made the payment?
