I stepped into a Slim Jim RC PSA 8: BUMPAGE!
![thunderdan](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/userpics/363/nQV3H4VUPTCEC.jpg)
Just picked this up. It's my one and only football card. I've always really liked this pose and issue. Just thought I would share. Thanks for indulging me a little!
Edited to add--submitted on a whim to PSA to try for the bump to an already high-end PSA 8 (see below). Definitely a pleasant end of week surprise!
Cert # Grade Description
04547436NEAR MINT-MINT+ 8.5 1958 TOPPS 62 JIM BROWN Card US
Will post a pic when it arrives back from PSA. I believe it's a Pop 1 with only 4 PSA 9s and no PSA 10s. (somebody correct me if I'm wrong--my PSA membership just expired).

I agree if you are going to pick one card to own from football this card would be one that alot of people would choose.
Nice going!
Nice pick up!

What prevented a nine on that?
Don't know why I am asking, because the answer probably lies in the 'dartboard' they use

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I just acquired and therefore was not the original submitter. I have no idea if it's ever been submitted for a review, although I've had terrible luck with bumpage. Not sure I would crack/resub a card like this.

<< <i>Appreciate the compliments, guys. I paid a little extra because it's the best 8 I could find. I've seen two 9s and their centering isn't any better (border and circle). Not sure if their focus is any better, either.

It is in a pre half point holder so I would sub for a review and try to get an 8.5 first.
A little Macho Man for you!
Congrats on the pickup...Donato

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

But in the interim, commensurate with your advice, I learned to smile more. Trust more. Just be happier. I was very appreciative of your counsel and advice during our attempted card transaction. My problem is that smiling more fully exposes that one dead tooth which can be rather embarassing. It used to be very light gray, but it has darkened with all the tea, coffee, tobacco, and hubbly bubbly. It adds at least 10 years to my smile. But I smile because it uses fewer muscles, and my face is all tuckered out.
Also, I'm now dominating the dojo because of my newfound stellar attitude.
Edited to add some information about fecal matter.
<< <i>Thanks, Glenn. I paid $21 (+0.93%) more for the exact same card vs. what I offered you on eBay. You netted about $342 (-16%) less than selling PP direct to me assuming MH ate the seller's commission. Otherwise, you really took a bath. Way to hold your ground on a good offer (premium vs. VCP), soldier.

<< <i>Thanks, Glenn, for your impeccable eBay non-transaction. I paid $21 (+0.93%) more for the exact same card on MH vs. what I offered you on eBay. The kind of bath with questionable floating matter in the corner. Way to hold your ground on a good offer (premium vs. VCP), soldier.

Yikes...that is the edited version? How big is that chip on your shoulder?
edited to add: faptastic card.
<< <i>Yikes...that is the edited version? How big is that chip on your shoulder? >>
Not all that big anymore. I ultimately got the card I wanted, and he sold the card he wanted to, so it's all good.
