Help grading cards

Can I get grading opinions on these two cards? I can't distinguish between the nuances of an 8 vs. 9 yet and am still getting the hang of things. I am relatively new to the collecting scene since collecting as a kid in the glory days of the late 80s/early 90s.

I'd say 7 on Rice, 7.5 or 8 on Aikman. Nice cards

Assuming there are no issues with them...maybe 7ish on the Rice and 8 on the Aikman?

The Jerry Rice has three white corners so I say 7 to 7.5.

The Aikman is is an 8 or a 9. It will be a toss up and you can make an arguement either way. I generally grade down so an 8 to 8.5 would be just fine and if you get a 9 then that would be a great score!

I think my grades will be close.. I think the exteme magnification makes the imperfections way more visible then when they are in hand

rice - 8
aikman - 9

the top border on the rice looks a little wavy. could be my eyes or just the scan.

That was on the scanner. I was scanning girl scout cookies last night before the cards.
