Thanks 4 the heads up. I just saw this, turned on the TV ... and they just introduced him!
Edited to add: In a commercial now. That's the first time I have listened to Mr. Aaron in YEARS! What a great guy! This thread may cost me some money, as I may actually start to collect him!
STAY HEALTHY!

Thank you for the heads-up! I loved when he whipped out his rookie card!! For those of you that saw it, tell the truth - how many of you tried to figure out what the grade on the card would be for the scant 10 seconds you saw it?

ok, which one of our illustrious members might this be? >>
The title of that clip should in no way read "refusing to sign a autograph" that's ridiculous. More like "leaving the Letterman show". It makes Mr. Aaron look look like a jerk when he's one of the nicest guys in baseball. JMO. Doug

actually, the clip suggests to me that everyone hollering around him, including Mr. "HEY HENRY!!!!!" would be the jerks and as usual, Aaron showed class and dignity instead of lashing out like that other Home Run King has been known to do. JMO.
Henry really is baseball's best ambassador in light of what's happened over the last ten years. It's nice to see him take on that role sometimes and it'd be nice to see him do it more often while he still can.

I did my part in propping up the PSA 7 and PSA 8 prices.
I wouldn't call my two transactions a trend, but hell, somebody needs to write about something in the hobby, right? I'd rather read about data points on that Carmen Electra auto card belonging to the venerable Dr. Mike.

Aaron said in his book that he really doesn't sign autographs IP because it creates too much of a mob scene. He didn't sign a single autograph at the BAT Dinner this year, except at the private reception and maybe for the VIP people at his table.

His rookie cards are showing a little upward movement too.

Hey I like the guy too and I think he's still terribly underrated as a player, but let's not get stupid!
