I got a seller thats telling me he has Joe Montanas super bowl XIX spikes. Also has a pic autoed by Montana that says "take care of my super bowl spikes" Any thoughts and what theyre worth? If legit, whats a fair offer? Going to see tomorrow...thx

    What authentication do they have on them?

    Have you seen an item like this before? - My rule of thumb is they are worth what someone is willing to pay (Especially for unique items)

    Anyone know the brand montana wore or size? No official auth. just that pic with the inscription. Dont football players call them cleats????

    Depends on the era... I'm seeing 14.5/nike on some sites

    I could only find 1 game used item from that super bowl and it was marinos helmut on heritage auction and it went for 33k.

    His family still lives here in the Pittsburgh area, so ya never know?? Claim he got them from Joes aunt as a gift years ago..

    It seems like you've done some research...

    I mean look at the seller, is it a reputable source? What sort of authenticity comes with it.... Worst comes to worst you always have paypal seller whocares... Sorry I mean buyer protection

    I don't see anything resembling advice. Just the ramblings of someone that doesn't have a clue. What a waste of bandwidth!

    The OP has a potential opportunity for a nice purchase. I don't have the slightest clue about the value, but I'm not going to post four different times about NOTHING. You could've PM'd him the same thing and saved us the frustration of reading your thoughts...
