    Unfortunately not too much. Mr. Moose was killed in an auto accident in 1976 on his 29th birthday.

    I remember it well. Moose was a HUGE part of the Pirates staff. It was one of the first times as a kid I had heard of someone dying that I knew of. Kind of a forgotten guy, but I assure you, the man could pitch.

    you can tell that the picture was taken in Spring Training 1973 due to the Clemente memorial swatch on his left arm....
