    still looks sort of wrong.
  • the two obverse pix are very different

  • << <i>the two obverse pix are very different >>

That's because one was taken with a $1200 camera and lighting and one was taken with my iPhone with no lighting.

  • I bet the camera phone picture is the closest to reality. The other appears cartoonish.

Good luck with your asking price.
  • The colorful pic is actually a pretty good representation of what the coin would look like in hand.

These coins really do have the colors you see in the first pic. There may be a wee bit of juicing going on there but (and I hope I don't get hung out to dry for saying this but) that's pretty well accepted when your trying to emphasize colors on a stand out color coin.

Fairtraderz has the 3rd member of the trio on ebay last I looked, and if you'll look for it, you see a blah pic that looks like TR's cell phone pic. It is difficult to get realistic looking shots of these.

  • .......I thought the cell phone pix was the colorful one ! image
  • I would love to see that coin with a .99 cent start and no reserve. I wonder what it would go for.
  • around 850$

and that .99 cent start on eBay is a joke these days ..........

over and over again I start bidding on lots , only to find someone has placed a high bid - right at the level the seller wants for the coin .

........now why would a bidder jump into an eBay auction when only 1 or 2 bids have been placed and the price is 4 $ on a coin that retails for say 800$ ,

and plop down a bid of 799$ ?

Sure some folks bid as high as there going to go right off the bat ...........

But I think the majority of the time its the seller with an alt account or a shill buddy that is helping weasel out of placing a reserve and the associated costs .

Well that's your opinion, bush owns the sister to this coin and agrees the pictures are true to the coin image
  • If you admit the camera phone picture is wrong and the intense blowup photo is off why not just shoot it the way it looks?
Fairtrader's coin, apparently the triplet to yours, makes it look muddy and lackluster.
