Beware of this Ebay seller!

He goes by the name of; peter-the-first. His return correspondence to email is nil. If you buy something from him and you live outside of Europe, he will (after you pay for your auction) contact you outside of Ebay (violation #1) and ask you to send him additional money due to some trumped up info. about Paypal (supposedly requiring extra insurance, violation #2). All in all, he and his wife Simone are arrogant and belligerent.

I challenged Simone about the extra money for Paypal insurance (after talking w/Ebay) and she DID back down. She than made sure NOT to send me shipping confirmation or a ship date. I sent 4 emails requesting that info, to NO AVAIL!!! I WILL say that the coin is a keeper but, the enjoyment of working with these people was non exsistent!

So, if you don't mind a small financial shakedown... BID AWAY!!!

The reason why Hayden is because, I'm a man of my word. After a two day tug of war with Simone (after addresing all of my concerns to Ebay), I told her that Ebay was on my side and that they would enforce the terms of the contract so, if she would just send the coin to me w/o the extra $, I would leave positive feedback.

In reality, 1) I called her bluff as all Ebay would have done is cancel the transaction and, I wanted the coin
2) I never said that my comments would not reflect the truth or that I would leave all 4's (I left 2-4's and 2-1's).

Edited to add; I sent them 4 emails over a two week period requesting the shipping date and confirmation (tracking #) of my coin, only to be ignored!

He is a known quantity in certain coin collecting venues for less than stellar service. You can set your fleaBay view settings to show seller name and feedback score - I don't even bother at less than 98% to even look at whatever they are selling.

I have bought from them before and got very nice coins. I paid by check to a bank account in FL and there were no issues. Most of their prices are way above market but there are some nice coins correctly price.
