A Successful Crossover

I bought a 1977 topps mexican dan fouts bccg 10 card on ebay and decided to get it crossed by bvg and it did!! bvg 9. But on the holder its going to say 1977 topps, is this a typo or do they do this for both topps mexican and topps sets? Here is the order status:
