Opinions on these autographs....

As much as I love every autograph to be authentic.... That isn't the case
I picked these up in an extremely large collection (About 1,000,000 cards), and several hundred pieces of memorabilia....
So obviously I'm hoping for the best.
The guy was getting into his 80s it looked like - and I finally got to see a nice collection for the first time in a long time... Drove 2 hours at 8 last night to get there before the person scheduled for this morning.

<< <i>I'm no autograph expert but if you get them authenticated they will sell for more. >>
Would be too much invested to actually get them authenticated... Probably a few hundred bucks, that won't increase the value a tremendous amount if someone thinks it looks good.
Couldn't tell if it was a smart ass comment or not so I'll leave it at my previous line....
<< <i>With those names, it IS worth paying the money to have them authenticated. You start selling high end autos that come back as fake, your reputation will always suffer if you try selling in the future. And selling them without authentication, you wont get more than 1/4 than what they should sell for...if you get more, you got lucky. >>
What do fees look like to get the memorabilia authenticated? I'm pretty sure it's still like 30-75 a piece... Which after shipping and all that I honestly can get more locally.
Sorry man, just trying to help out. Yes, I think the players are good. Especially Michael Jordan, he was one of the best ever.
The Mays, Griffey and Ryan look OK to me, but I am not an expert by any means. I wouldn't be "into" them for any kind of $$ without some certs from proven sources. A cert from a shop owner or guy at a show wouldn't cut it. I'd need some ticket stubs from shows or an UD cert or invoice or something similar.

Enough with the sarcasm, this is why you push people away from the boards.
<< <i>Hard to believe that the guy who sold them to you doesn't have a cert for any of them? Those are names that MOST buyers would not touch without some sort of guarantee or proof of their origin.

The only time I get stuff like this is when I'm buying "Collections", if it's with the cards I take it - if I have to actually buy them outright I wouldn't consider them at all.
<< <i>pm me a price on the griffey and what type of ball it is. >>
baseball, imo.
Good Luck!

<< <i>The baseball autographs look good to me, but at least the Mays & Griffey need authentication in order to maximize return

I don't mind about maximizing return as long as they go to someone who will keep them
I get into stuff so cheap nowadays it's crazy.
Can't see the Jordan too good with the pic you have.
Don't know FB well enough to pass judgement.
Hard to tell from the Jordan scan but I think it's a no-go at first glance.
