Morgan/Peace dollars are now $25.75 at melt.

Who would have guessed it just 2-3 years ago??

  • I wouldn't have guessed it 3 years ago, that's for sure. These will be melting at $30/each later this year! image

Yes, but don't forget about the silver modern commemorative dollars. They have the exact same planchet as a Morgan/Peace dollar. I have a hoard of them.

...or the West Point Dollars I've been buried in for a decade. Still buried...and laughing at myself that it will take a 300% move in silver to get out of them even! Woo Hoo. What a genius!!!

What will the price of silver need to be to get e-bay buyers out of the fake Chinese Trade
dollars they have been buying? The fakes made of silver, that is -- the junk metal pieces
may have to wait for copper, nickel and zinc to soar.

A lot of common dates are going to disappear shortly including the commemorative dollars that nobody

    knows what to do with.

Still have a long ways to go with slabbed 63's selling for over $40.

I was wondering what took silver so long to get to $30 after languishing under $20 for 2-1/2 yrs. It seemed like a shoe in back in early 2008.

Woohoo! Maybe I can finally sell the Lewis and Clark, the Edison, the Wildlife series (all 3), etc, and make my money back (3-7 years after I bought them image )

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

When/if silver hits around $45 an ounce you will be able to break even selling them at melt.

When silver does hit the magic dollar amount, there will be a lot of company of modern commem dollars. Price on all will likely synchronize at some point.
  • Now almost $26 melt.

if everyone is excited at the prospect of "getting out" from all the Modern Comemorative Silver Dollars, it begs a question-----Why did you buy them in the first place???
