Wonderful "Arnoisms" about buying coins

My friend and "numismatic father" is Mr. Arno Safran of Augusta, GA. Arno is very active in the Augusta and Aiken, SC coin clubs since moving down there in 2000.

I first met Arno in April 1983 at a Watchung Hills CC meeting (NJ). We've both learned a ton from each other.

In any event, some of these are not totally original - but they're still applicable:

1) Eye appeal is buy appeal.
2) The coin is very pleasing to the eye/aesthetically pleasing.
3) In special instances, you need to invoke the 10% rule and look at the long term.
4) "If you don't buy that, I will!"

Just a few pieces of good advice.

BTW, Arno also helped merge the images of all of the Half Cents that are on my website.

Have a nice morning,

Greg
