Recent Wrestling All Stars additions...PSA 9 Hulk Hogan!!

I just recently picked this one up as I wanted to add another one to my collection and it is a real stunner!

This is a current pop 1 Kerry Von Erich PSA 9, super tough card of an awesome ring legend.

Awesome ring performer who is very underated.

Total Jobber but a very nice card that is super tough.

Great technical wrestling and a true hooker.

One of my favorites and a real awesome performer!

The man who ruled New York in the 60's and 70's, the living legend!

A true wrestling legend in the ring and out.

A nice card from this tough set.

He was hardcore before that term existed, RIP.

He was the first African American star in the wrestling business.

One of the true legends of the sport who trained 100's of top stars.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Many of these cards sold at great prices as the titling was off and had much lower number of eyeballs. You would be amazed at how many more hits an item gets with the title 1982 Wrestling All Stars.
If you run the same search you will find the Andre The Giant in PSA 8 went for a big $445. That was a strong number there.
The editor Norman Keitzer who made the cards just took pictures from their publications that were essentially head shots and posted them on bordered cards. The Billy Robinson is definately from 1974.
I collect the magazines that I find with the photo's that were used on the cards too.
Here is an example of a Hogan.
What's left for you in this set? Do you every card in 9 or better yet?
Beckett is much less strict on centering and at times many other minor flaws and I do have some in BGS holders that I don't think will cross over which is holding me back in some respects.
There are severall such as Andre The Giant that I have in a BGS 9 but I am not certain if I can get it to cross. The card that is going to be so tough to find is The Chrusher from 82A in mint condition. There is a pop 1 and there will never be many surface. I have had a chance to buy a BGS graded one but it did not look strong enough and the seller is on top of these sets and wants a lot for it. I would pay up for that card if I can find one already in a PSA 9 holder and the current owner has never started a set in the registry or put it for sale.
I am getting much closer and have a handfull that should cross that are in BGS holders I plan to sub very soon from 82B which is the most rare set of them.
The 83 set is way different story. There are a few cards in there that may never surface in PSA 9 or higher. The final card is Matt Borne who later went on to be Doink The Clown so his card is one of the least in demand but is the most difficult in the set. I have a PSA 7 and about 14 raw cards but nothing will grade higher.
I have actually been trying to build multiples of the complete sets so I am still no where near done but the flow of cards surfacing in graded condition or that I could slab has slowed dramatically in the past severall months.
The Hogan in PSA 9 is a pop 4 and I have 2 of them.
I appreciate the kind remarks and I realize this is not of much interest to many but as I have said from day one what makes the sets really cool is they are very rare in NM or higher and as demand has picked up it makes the thrill of the chase more fun.
Still a really cool item.
I have just bought this really cool item and it feartures Andre The Giant vs. Hulk Hogan and it is indeed the Andre card pic and the Hulk. They crop his hair but if you look at the smile and the hair under Andre's eye it is indeed the pic.
If you look at my BGS 9 the only thing wrong with it is the focus in his hair and you can see that the original focus was off and therefore so is the focus on the card.
This is a really cool item to have both guys going head to head and the exact same photos used from their cards.

1982 Wrestling All Stars Andre The Giant BGS 9 (hoping to cross to a PSA 9)
Here are different cards side by side
Here is a pic of Blassie and Hogan. I was just looking through one of my desk drawers and found this. I bought a lot of 50 4x6 photos from a free lance photographer off EBAY and here is one of the pics. Pretty cool!
