    The participants were sued.

hey Greg, let me just ask, that thing was cleaned, no?

Has that washed look and just the dirt and whatnot still stuck within the confines of the date and details,-looks cleaned to me.

Bill, I've sent you a private PM with additional images taken with less exposure that I didn't use here becasue the coin was rotated more severly in the slab. I didn't think the issue was significant enough to justify taking up the space to post additional images here. Bottom line is I don't think the coin is cleaned, but if it has been, I can be rightfully accused of seeking out cleaned coins.

There was no soft plastic in these holders. These were like the first generation PCGS rattler holders---hard plastic shells with three tiny prongs to hold the coin and to help prevent rotation.

IIRC, in the lawsuit, they called rec.collecting.coins a Coin Club and including it in the suit. I'm surprised Al Gore wasn't called a co-conspirator image

Like all TPGs, some coins are graded properly some not. I guess the market determines what is 'properly graded'.

My favorite experience with ACG. Had a bronze coin ACG MS63RED. Tried to cross to a leading TPG at MS60 or better. Didn't cross. Broke it out, sent it back to the same TPG, came back MS64RD.
