Nice stuff, as always. Isn't the Probus coin your avatar?

I'm sticking to the Twelve Caesars for the time being, and already have Domitian, otherwise you'd likely find me interested in some of those.

Nevertheless, here's my full testimonial for johnsim03, to anyone who's never done business with him. image

Glad to see you back around, John. Did you see that thread I posted some time ago about the weird coincidence that happened to me?

PS- if you have any more of those really high grade yet inexpensive early-4th century pieces with the desert patina, I might be interested. I remember in particular a supersharp Licinius I got from you for perhaps twenty bucks. It was one of my favorite late Roman coins, though. The patina was great and you could see the pupil in the emperor's eye and every wisp of hair in his wispy beard.

    Hi Rob,

Yeah, I did get a kick out of that story. I still have a bag full of those wooden nickels...image
I'm afraid these Roman Imperials are all that I have at the moment. They are actually a consignment. The group
price is a very attractive one for this lot of scarce/rare coins. All were bought initially from the FORVM online catalog
a few years ago. I would REALLY like to sell the entire group at once, but of course would consider best offers for
    individual pieces.

    Nice chatting with ya,
    John

Here is my recently-purchased Domitian, which I got from Zuzim Judaea. It looks like the same type as yours. Funny- I never realized that was an owl at Minerva's feet- cool! (Or maybe it's not, on my coin- hard to tell.) I just sent it off to NGC.
