Seated Half for the die crack fans (updated: graded at PCGS)

1841-O WB-102 with the infamous shattered reverse die that looks like the seams on a baseball. Currently R5 according to Bill Bugert. Hope all you "crackheads" enjoyed seeing it.

The "rim damage" at 2:00 is a cud, not damage. The small ding at 11:00 would not stop it from slabbing.

Updated 10/24/15. Received the grade from PCGS. Although it has AU details, I thought it might get netted to XF45 due to heavy original patina. PCGS apparently liked the originality and put an AU53 on it instead! This coin is now one of the highest graded examples of the 1841-O Baseball crack out there. In the WB102 variety-attributed holder, it's Pop. 1/0, but I know there are others without the variety marked. Pretty good for a total cherrypick! A PCGS XF45 recently sold for $3,172.50 at Heritage, so I'm sitting pretty with this one.

eBay BIN two minutes after it was listed (back in 2011). Seller said it was "scratched." The scratches were the die cracks... I like this kind of damage when it's free.
