Beautiful 1826 C-2 Half Cent that I used to own

This is the much tougher 1826 C-2. A solid AU coin such as this is most difficult.

It came from the Bill Eckberg FPL, where it was purchased at the Baltimore ANA in 2008.

I don't think that's strike doubling you're seeing. Looks like recutting to me.
