    He basically says Palmeiro should not have qualified even though he was a great defensive player who his team used as dh for most of that season, that doesn't mean he's worse defensively than Jeter. Jeter was statistically the worst SS in the league last year, he stole that award from Andrus.

    When he started addressing players who only won one gold glove I started skimming the article, I don't think not winning multiple gold gloves automatically puts you on the weak side of the award.
