So is this a typical price for a GSC auction, or did someone else see what I saw?

I have to assume someone else cherrypicked this Doubled Die Reverse. I bid up to $155, thinking that when properly attributed I'd break even if it was a MS63, with the potential for profit if it graded 64 or better. As a run of the mill 1946 WLH, the hammer price was up around MS66 levels. Are his followers really crazy enough to push a bid that high? If so I'll stop trying to cherry his auctions altogether.

The winning bidder may have indeed figured this a 64 or better DDR.
