I imagine finding a Morgan in 8 or better would be even more difficult! image

I don't think people realize how time consuming those "lookups" are, especially when they post 10 or so instead of just 1 or 2.....

Absolutely! Thankfully i lean towards the Bonds/Chipper lol

BBCE listed a MEGA-NICE PSA 9 Brett last night, its already at $316

Also, the '91 wax is impossible to find

  • I have a box of 91 Topps wax. I didn't think it was worth anything because the most valuable raw card in the set isn't worth more than maybe $2 tops. The box is kind of beat up, but all 40 packs are still nice. If I only had a Desert Storm gold foil stamper!!! image

no, not Topps, thats easy. lol

O-Pee-Chee is nowhere to be found.

these years of what most call "Junk Wax" O-Pee-Chee BBCE does not have:

    1991 Chipper (Need it)
1990 Thomas (Have it); Sosa (Need it)
1989 (Luckily i was able to pick up a Randy Johnson PSA 9 last night)
    1987 Bonds (Need it)

  • So are you collecting all HOF-caliber players (including Rose, McGwire, Bonds, Clemens, Palmeiro, Sosa, etc.) based on their career numbers that clearly warrant first-ballot induction, or are you actually predicting that Bonds and Chipper will one day actually make it?

I think Chipper will get in, but not on the first try, and I don't think Bonds ever will.

Well, my first love in this "hobby" of ours is graded rookie cards.
As far as modern ones go, there aren't many that i am still hunting.
The O-Pee-Chee stuff is a challenge to find in PSA 9, and its kind of frustrating and refreshing at the same time.

i think Chipper gets in first try. i think Bonds and Clemens get in eventually. Rose will get in after he dies. McGwire, Sosa and Palmiero are not HOFers in my opinon.
