Gretzky O-PEE-CHEE Rookie Autograph

Does anyone know if Gretzky will sign his O-PEE-CHEE rookie (not autopen) and, if so, at what cost? How does one go about submitting the card to him if this is possible?

  • I hear if you show up in person with a knife he will sign it.

Yes, he will. Bookmark the site http://www.gretzky.com Check it periodically and usually at least once a year, he will do a private sigining. It will cost you $100-200 but it will be authentic. Or, catch him at a golf tourney and get him to sign it. However, at the golf tourney's, his sig is terrible, and I got one signed at a tourney and it won't pass authentication due to being so sloppy and rushed.

I have run into him 3 times in the last 2 months at the Encore/Wynn hotels in Vegas - maybe he is living there part time.
He seems to have a love affair with blackjack.
I don't bother him but a friend of mine took a picture with him and he happily signed anything put in front of him.

What other input are you looking for and I'll see if I can help?

I know as much usefulness as mine had, Mike and Jim basically gave the most advice you can give for an autograph other than showing up at the persons house or place of work.
  • Got my OPC rookie signed through the private signing that took place last November. So, yes he does sign them. Do not send TTM as it will come back with the autopen auto.
    Thanks

  • I suppose he bumped for the above response image
  • Yes, I was looking for additional input from "HockeyAutoCollector". I was aware of his signing and I was hoping to have his response in the forum as future reference for anyone else seeking the same advice. Thanks so much for your help. "Sean1125" your advice was also helpful, in that I now know not to pay any attention to you going forward.
