1836 O-101.

Identification of the Overton number was almost a freebie, with the tine of the obverse 6 and the double dentil over the second "S" in states on the reverse.
Admittedly, the strike of Liberty's curls is on the weak side. But I am otherwise very happy with the pleasant toning and lustre. The blues on the obverse are a bit more green in hand, but overall, the pic is another excellent job done by Phil Arnold, to whom I am very grateful.

Additional musings--1836 is a funny year for CBHs. They always seem to be available, but are mostly unappealing, which made the acquisition of this specimen all the more satisfying. Furthermore ,1836 CBHs suffer in reputation due to their proximity to the other highly plentiful dates of 1830-1834. In point of fact, however, 1836 (and even more so with 1835, another date that suffers for similar reasons), there are less P64 CBHs in 1836 than the individual years of 1824-1828, with very close pops to 1812, 1822, and 1829.
