It's official: as Egypt was burning, Mubarak was stealing the gold. When we reported, presumably jokingly, two weeks ago that the Egyptian Central Bank may have been plundered, it turns out we were pretty much accurate once again it was all just to make sure he transferred his assets, especially gold

<< <i>Perhaps Goldman Sachs can take a proactive PR step and disclose to the population that the flow trade-frontrunning hedge fund had nothing to do with facilitating the transfer of Mubarak's billions in stolen wealth from point A to point B. >>

He began positioning assets to get them out of the country
The same day the Military did not disperse the crowds in Tahrir Square
at the very beginning of the protests.
He has had over two weeks to move things around.
plus he already had close to 30 Billion in personal Swiss accounts
(Yes 30 Billion Not 3 Billion as being reported)
I wonder how much of that was allowed to be moved
out of those accounts before the Swiss announcement yesterday
that they were freezing his assets??
What's he going to do? Walk away empty handed?
