Good luck. The set is criticized for lack of RCs....but I have always like the look of the card design. The AC Green and the Dominique are 2 of my favorite cards! Enjoy!

Good luck - it's a great set. I put it together in 9 rather cheap buy self subbing (buy raw lots on ebay!) and getting lucky on the lower 9's that don't seem to pop up much (as you will see). Don't hold your breath for a Bird 10...that pop likely won't increase soon and last one sold for $5K.

Edit to add - Hallco - I like the rookies in this set! Harper, Schrempf, Porter, Thorpe, Daugherty - the unsung heroes of my favorite period of basketball!

Agreed , a great period of NBA times , i grew up watching the Lakers of the 80's and there was no time like the 80's , the Players played with passion , the CBS crew of broadcasters ( Dick stockton, hubie brown, james brown, Pat obrien, tommy heinson etc etc )were the best , the CBS intro was the best , the build up of a Game about to begin @ 10 am west coast time while growing up in Los Angeles was like no other and waiting for the Western confrence game @ 1pm was truly a great anticipation , brent mussberger taking the mic and as soon as you heard the Tune start to play , u ran to the TV set!! lol....beacuse u knew Mussberger was about to break down the matchup in a 2 minute intro that would make u want to sit and watch the Matchup!....haha.....great times , great Fleer sets!

Oh I agree with you 100%...I just meant in the hobby world, most of them don't get any love. 70's and 80s NBA was awesome!!
