    Okay

    Mexico
    Canada
    Germany
Two from GB and one from Switzerland- the 1952 1Fr graded 66

Previously, I referenced an 1891 Florin on another thread and I decided to submit it - it came back 58 and the 1746 Farthing graded AU53

    Mexico- I submitted both 1926 Peso coins- I liked them and both graded 66, a 1925 Peso graded 64 and a 1944 graded 66

    Happy with those- very happy

    Canada-

    1928 25cents- MS63- Nice and crusty
    1929 5cents- MS63- decent
    1908 Cent- MS65RB-
    1915 Cent-MS64RB
    1918 Cent-MS65RB

Happy with those as well- the 1908 and 1918 did well

1909 50Cents- environmental damage- oh the humanity... I thought this was a lock 40 shot 45 and very original. I don't think our host liked the look of this aged .925 silver

    1922 5cents- AU58- I'm just embarrassed with this one

Last stop- Imperial Germany and the Weimar Republic

And in my own defense, I will just write this- The die polishing on the Weimar Republic coins make them tough to grade-I had a 1930 A and 1930F Rhineland 3M come back as genuine cleaned-as well as the 1927-A Marburg- I missed this- I thought it was clearly die polish and it seems I stand corrected. I will take a better look when they come back.

We had some decent Weimar results-
    1927-A 3M-Nordhausen- MS64
    1925D and E 3M 1000YRS- MS64 on both

    1930G 3M Rhineland- MS65

and ther were someothers in the 62-64 range

We did have some nice German results otherwise-

1912J 1/2M- MS65- The color on this is superb
    1912D 1/2M MS66
    1909E-1/2M-MS66
    1915E-1/2M-MS66

Overall, I suspect the 1912J is the best of the lot-

Well, it was the best of times and the worst of times...image

Kat, this sounds like GREAT stuff! image

Come on now, it's almost been 10 years and you haven't posted one photo.

Email something to someone, me if you want, and I'll post it asap. Not fair, but congrats, we'll imagine them. image

I saw that 1909 half dollar and thought it was all there, nice silver color. no hairlines. strong details ... env damage is a wtf moment.

Very nice on the other Canadian stuff.

That would be the one you saw- I still maintain that .925 silver can have a different look- a look that may not suit every taste- In this instance, the1909 Half has an appeal for those with an aquired taste. I still like it and maintain it is an original EF40- perhaps it falls short of 45.

Actually I have had some of my British crowns pictured on thread here- must be 2-3 years ago- I should look for it

My imaging talent which is better characterized as a complete lack of talent remains rarely to be seen here...

Coinkat - post a pic of the 1928 ms63 25c if you can.

Kat, I challenge anyone on this forum to take a worst picture than me. Can't be done, because I've never imaged coins. I post other people's images.

And I suggest the same to you, it's one thing having the equipment, and another to use it like coinpictures, TwoKopeiki, mgood3 and so many others.

Considering the superb material that you keep posting lately and that you still don't think of a change of carreer, that is to be a grader,PCGS is hiring for Paris if you want! image,
I only suggested to have your coins imaged by someone else for a very low fee.

There was nothing insulting or demeaning in my words, I'm sure you got that.

But you need a virtual library of your fantastic coins.

I've followed your threads and have seen the evolution and progress of a multi countries interested collector.
It's a shame not to have these gems imaged, not for us, but for you.

    Best regards.
